Danica Patrick, top IndyCar driver and GoDaddy spokes model Lower Back Tattoos
Race car driver Danica Patrick recently made her second appeared in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue. Apparently, SI editors were pleased with Patrick’s photo, except for one thing: they airbrushed a tattoo from her lower back.
As these Danica Patrick pictures indicate, Patrick’s first SI photo shoot revealed a tattoo. In her most recent shoot for SI,however, the tat magically disappeared.

Danica Sue Patrick (born March 25, 1982 in Beloit, Wisconsin) is an American auto racing driver, currently competing in the IndyCar Series, as well as a model and advertising spokeswoman. “How funny, right?” Patricksaid. “I’m very flattered that someone would take the time to talk about my tattoo. It’s a good thing I picked out a tattoo that I really liked because now people know that I have one. It’s just amazing how some of the smaller things nowadays make news. “I guess it’s a good sign that people want to hear about me and know what is going on.”

Just last year, Danica Patrick was photographed in a swimsuit with the tattoo still intact. Personally, I’m not sure if there is a background driving force behind SI’s actions, but it seems odd that they would print her tattoo one year and take it out the next.
