Actually, this year it was a major show for Victoria’s Secret as they celebrated 10 years from their first TV broadcast show! 10 years of gorgeous girls cheerfully walking around in VS lingerie with more and more elaborate accessories. VS Angels,ten of the twenty to forty models to walk for Victoria’s Secret each year, made their debut in 1998.

Last night, Victoria’s Secret hosted its annual fashion show extravaganza at the Armory in NYC filled with beautiful models and rockin’ music to go with it. We were entranced right from the beginning; Candice Swanepoeltook the opening spot walking out in a gorgeous pair of ballet-inspired wings and a thong set, with Angels following in a sexy array of feathered, tutu-embellished ensembles.

“There are electronic wings, there are things that light up and have remote controls, but luckily mine are butterfly wings that are very easy to walk in,” model Lily Aldridgetold the WSJ before Wednesday’s show. “The most challenging thing I would say is working out. It’s a lot of pressure. There are so many eyes on us with millions and millions of people watching.”

Backstage the mood was hectic as the “angels” prepared for the show. There were tables overflowing with makeup, hair spray, hair extensionsand brushes.The models were clad in shiny pink silk robes pre-show as they prepared their hair and makeup for the runway.
